A multimedia performance with prosthetic figures, live video projections, and stop motion animation projected on a semitransparent screen with live contemporary dancers. 

 

In the legacy of Alexander Calder’s circus, Clown palace uses new technologies to expand on the concept of the miniature circus. The miniature theatre is set in the center of the stage. Ballet interplays with stop motion images projected on semitransparent screens which cover the stage. All of this accompanied by original music sheet. 

 

Clown Palace is a lively 35/45 minutes show, suitable for all audiences. Anybody can enjoy the mystical timeless story and the poetry of the images. 

 

Clown Palace was dreamed up and created by a team of young talents from around the world (Canada, Chile, France, Spain and Andorra) via the internet. The plan is to make it evolve every year. Clown Palace premiere was on September 13, 2014 in Les Fontetes Theater, in Andorra. But the project is still very much alive. Do not miss this captivating and poetic show!
